Usually replaced when doing a timing belt/water pump replacement. Get rid of those oil soaked, swollen ineffective timing cover gaskets. The lower timing cover has a glued-on gasket and will not accept a replacement gasket. You can select the option to add a new OEM lower timing cover with gasket pre-installed if you need to replace it.
