Great for street or track Maita's, they make a excellent anti-theft device!

According to the Spec Miata rules in both SCCA and NASA all "Convertible tops and attaching hardware shall be completely removed. Cars may compete with the Mazda factory detachable hard top in place (latches shall be replaced with positive fasteners)". These Top Brackets are the "positive fasteners" you are looking for to secure your hardtop safely and legally. We use them on our Spec Miata race cars and highly recommend them. Of course these are useable for the street if your not interested in frequent removal of your top.
