Since the o-ring is the most common point of oil leaks on the miata engine we have added a option for a MAZDA genuine o-ring as an option. It is also a good time to replace your valve cover gasket so that also is an option.

Description

Here is our replacement tip. Remove the valve cover and the two cam bearing cap bolts that hold the CAS sensor in place. It is much easier than trying to get your hand behind the engine and fish the CAS out and into place. At the same time check the hardness of your valve cover gasket. It should be soft not hard. The valve cover gasket is the second most common oil leakage source (not far behind the CAS O-ring.....).
