Raptor Performance Digital Mini Shift Light

With the help of a Raptor shift light, you don't need to worry about missing a shift. You will get consistent results, shifting at the exact desired engine RPM each and every time. With the aid of a Raptor shift light, hitting the rev limiter while going down the track is a thing of the past!


Available in four LED colors. Seven bright LEDs visible in direct sunlight. Easy wire-up: power, ground and tach signal. With the supplied ten foot long black cable, you don't need to add extra wiring.
Available in four color anodized, 6061-T6 aluminum housings for extreme durability. Also available in chromed aluminum housings.
RISC processor for extreme precision and easy user interface. Simply turn the two rotary RPM switches for the desired setting, select the cylinder setting to match your vehicle and cycle the power. The new settings are then stored in memory.
Dimensions: 3.125" long x 0.75" diameter. The most compact shift light of any manufacturer! Allows you to mount it virtually anywhere within the vehicle, even in the AC vent for a hidden but effective shifting tool.
Two different style Mounting Brackets. Vinyl covers are for reducing emitted light intensity for night racing. They do not determine the color of the emitted LED light. Covers match the LED color.

Works on all ignition systems, excluding magneto ignitions (such as 2 stroke bikes). Can be connected to "tach out" terminal of aftermarket CDI ignition boxes, but not at coil due to extreme voltages generated.

Fast and easy RPM setting with rotary dip switches (x1000 RPM and x100 RPM)

1000-9900 RPM range adjustable in 100 RPM increments (the RPM range can be doubled to a maximum of 19,800 RPM by doubling the cylinder select switches for your vehicle and setting the RPM to 1/2 of the desired RPM activation point).

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 cylinder engines (set by 3 position slide switch)

5 or 12 volt tach signal operation (ECM or coil)

Miata Installation Tips

1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata L4-1597cc 1.6L DOHC Tach signal: at diagnostic connector, yellow wire with blue stripe.
1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata L4-1.8L DOHC Tach Signal: at diagnostic connector, black wire with white stripe.
2002 Mazda Miata MX-5, L4 1.8L DOHC engine Tach signal: is green wire with orange stripe at data link connector (driver side under steering wheel). Set the shift light on 4 cylinder mode.
2005 Mazdaspeed Miata 1.8L Turbo: Tach signal: at pin "3O" (connector 3, pin O) at electronic control module. Green wire with orange stripe also routes to the instrument cluster.
