Sample picture shown, the 94-97 has a domed cap instead of flat. (1.6 sensor pictured) Camshaft Position Sensor fits '94-'97, in good working condition. We highly recommend you buy a new CAS O-ring with this item. The o-ring is the most common point of oil leaks on the miata engine. It is set as an option

Sample picture is of a '90-'93. Limited availability, please call. Please note we have succesfully used the 1.6 CAS as a replacement SKU # 11555438. It requires no modification (and is only slightly more available....).
Here is our replacement tip. Remove the valve cover and the two cam bearing cap bolts that hold the CAS sensor in place. It is much easier than trying to get your hand behind the engine and fish the CAS out and into place. At the same time check the hardness of your valve cover gasket. It should be soft not hard. The valve cover gasket is the second most common oil leakage source (not far behind the CAS O-ring.....). We have them available in our new parts section
